RAF IDPA Match – Dec 13, 2004 – Holiday Office Party Gone Bad.
Match Procedure: Two shooters will shoot
the match at once. First, both of you will shoot stages 1 and 2. You will then
reload your magazines and shoot stages 3 and 4. Please read the supplied course
descriptions. If you have any questions, please ask the Safety Officer (SO)
before you begin the course of fire.
Stage 1: Flirting gone wrong : (12 rounds Vickers)
Scenario: You are sitting at your desk hitting on your hot secretary when
thugs enter the office and one grabs him / her (depending on your gender and
“preference”).
Stage Procedure: Start seated at desk, loaded gun in briefcase. On
signal, engage T1-T3 with 2 rounds each in Tactical Priority AND tactical
sequence (1-1-2-1-1, near to far) while remaining seated. (note T2 and T3 are
equal threats. Move to low cover and engage T4-T6 with 2 rounds each around the
side using low cover in tactical priority (slicing the pie).
Stage 2: Smoking is REALLY hazardous to your health : ( 10 rounds Vickers
Count)
Scenario: You are outside for a smoke when you run into some people who
want to demonstrate just how bad smoking can be for you.
Stage Procedure: Begin at Start Position 2. On signal engage T9-T11 with
2 rounds each, while retreating to your office building, in tactical sequence
(1-1-2-1-1). From the safety of your office, perform an IDPA legal reload and
then engage T7 and T8 with 2 rounds each from the office window slicing the pie.
Stage 3: Can’t even crap in peace. : (14 rounds Vickers Count)
Scenario: You are washing up after making a festive Yule Time Log when
trouble brews.
Stage Procedure: Begin at Start Position 3. On Signal, engage T2-T6 with
2 rounds each in tactical priority making proper use of cover. NOTE: The proper
order of engagement here is T2, T3, T5, T6 and then begin leaving cover until T4
comes into view. Move to XPOS1 and engage T7-T8 with 2 rounds each.
Stage 4: A day at the range beats a party at work.: (12 rounds Limited
Vickers Count)
Scenario: Since the Office party was such a bust, you sneak off to the
range to do some drills.
Stage Procedure: Concealment is not required on this stage. Begin at
Start Position 4 with gun loaded to 6 rounds only. On signal engage T9-T11with
two rounds each. Perform a slide lock reload and reengage T9-T11 with two rounds
each strong hand only.
