RAF IDPA Match - January 8, 2007.
 

Match Procedure: Two shooters will shoot the match at once. First, both of you will shoot stages 1 and 2. You will then reload your magazines and shoot stages 3 and 4. Please read the supplied course descriptions. If you have any questions, please ask the Safety Officer (SO) before you begin the course of fire.

Note: In order to simplify stage descriptions, the order of target engagement will be given explicitly.

Stage 1: (12 rounds Vickers count)
Scenario:
Stage Procedure: This stage will start with handgun loaded with SIX rounds only laying flat on barrel. Nothing else should be on barrel (spare mags etc). Begin at start position 1 seated in chair facing down range. On signal, engage T1-T3 with two rounds each in tactical sequence (1-1-2-1-1). Perform a slide lock reload and reengage T1-T3 with 2 rounds to each head (2-2-2). You must remain seated during the entire course of fire.

Stage 2: (14 rounds Vickers count)
Scenario:
Stage Procedure: Begin at start position 2 facing down range with brief case in hand. On signal engage T12-T14 with 2 rounds each in tactical sequence (1-1-2-1-1) while retreating to cover. Place briefcase on ground safely behind cover and engage T9, T10 and T11 through window. Move to barrel (B2) and engage T8 with 2 rounds.

Stage 3: (14 rounds Vickers count)
Scenario:
Stage Procedure: Begin facing wall with each hand holding respective side of Barrel B3. On signal, engage T1-T3 in tactical sequence with 2 rounds each (1-1-2-1-1) while moving to cover. From Barrel 4 (B4), engage T7, T6, T5 and then T4 with 2 rounds each.

Stage 4: (12 rounds Limited Vickers count - 3 strings)
Scenario:
Stage Procedure: String 1: Start in position 4A. On signal draw and engage T12-T14 with 2 rounds each (2-2-2).
String 2: Start in position 4B. On signal draw and engage T12-T14 with 1 round each strong hand only.
String 3: Start in position 4B with gun at low ready in the weak hand. On signal engage T12-T14 with one round each weak hand only.
